Precast Plank Installation Within Building
print icon
  Project Phase: Construction
Delivery Method: EPC (Engineer Procure Construct)

Statement of Problem:
Precast plank installation over toilet rooms, within building after steel was erected.
Based on the lead time of the precast the lid had to be installed after the roof steel was erected and there was very tight clearance above the rooms to position and install the precast planks.

This was further complicated by the rigging procedure that was required for the planks which prohibited lifting from below. This required for CCC to remove a section of decking in order to lift the planks from above, and in the other area, left out a section of siding to slide the plank into place.
