| STATEMENT OF PROBLEM Not sure what the objective is for uploading WIM every couple weeks. Other GM groups constantly were working off old models or didn’t know where to even download this info. Many times when they finally downloaded model, work has already taken place in field and then the Process groups has issues with layout. CCC was also transmitting information via email, copperrange, expedition, to expedite information because not everyone had access to auto web or training to utilize website. COURSE OF ACTION None LESSON LEARNED This may improve if model drawings and better records are kept and used in future design. Better internal management of documents. Otherwise, it’s a lot of money and design wasted for arbitrarily trying to achieve a clash free u/g model. Need better document control between parties. |
