| Project Phase: Construction Delivery Method: EPC (Engineer Procure Construct) Statement of Problem: Throughout the design process DTE desired for a very simple and economical solution for the building''s shell and entrance. During the design of the core and shell, several options were presented for the entrance to the building and a simple brick facade was selected by the team for the construction release of the BP-04 core and shell package. After the drawings were released and the shell work getting lined up, there was some dissatisfaction amongst DTE leadership on the simple look of the building. CCC was instructed to explore new design options for the entrance facade that would utilize different materials to make it stand out and make more of a statement. |
