STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:

Demolition team needed to protect old concrete parking lot/drive ways to allow room outside of the building for sorting scrap. 

ROOT CAUSE:

COURSE OF ACTION:

The demolition team took it upon themselves to install crane mats on the concrete to protect the concrete and drain systems. This minimized damage to the existing concrete. 

LESSON FOR FUTURE PROJECTS:

The amount of money saved by putting down the crane mat opposed to repairing the concrete is well worth it in the long run.
