Project: StarPlus Energy Battery Plant

CCC Job #3374

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:

There was an incomplete design for access control and power requirements for the DFH.

ROOT CAUSE:

Lack of information from the Owner.

COURSE OF ACTION:

This GC team brought this to the attention of the owner and requested design input several times. They were informed the end user would be responsible for access control and the conduit would be surface mounted.

LESSON FOR FUTURE PROJECTS:

Verify scope at design and confirm requirements with customer. Confirm DFH requirements are reflected in all drawing disciplines. As design builder, ensure that in-wall conduits for access control scope is included for sake of installation sequence.
