STATEMENT OF PROBLEM

Invoices would come through Timberscan and would get paid without being paid against a commitment. 

ROOT CAUSE

Lack of knowledge

COURSE OF ACTION

Use Procore budget screen at the same time as invoice payment. This will allow you to confirm that there is a commitment against the items being paid.

LESSON FOR FUTURE PROJECTS

Invoices that have commitments should be paid against the commitment to avoid the budget being duplicated.
